More New Pics!

March 3, 2009

Let me start by saying that one of the main reasons for this blog is to make the building of AWESOME Lego mecha for Mechaton achievable for everyone.  I understand how difficult it can be to look at a picture of a Lego model and try to extrapolate the method of construction from the surface appearance.   I will be slowly adding instructions for some of my models on the “instructions” page.  I will also post photos of some of my mechs partially disassembled for the same reason.  There is no huge Mechaton “game workshop” {cough, cough} churning out mecha kits for Mechaton.  It is up to all of us to insure that every gamer that wants a Mechaton army can put one together. [Insert patriotic Lumpley music here.]  No really, and toward that end I am posting the pic of the back side of the “naked” Takafashii frame as well as several dressed versions.  Squieu understands this need as well.  Not only did he give us two pics of the naked frame, but he gave us a shot with all of the parts disassembled so that we can easily see what is required to build it!

You can see the rest of Squieu’s stuff here.

Malcolm Craig made this beautiful version of the Takafashii, right before he came up with his MgN-302 frame.  He even claims the Takafashii was the inspiration for coming up with the MgN-302.

You can see the rest of Malcolm’s stuff here.

And finally one more version of Zizy2’s Advanced Frame.  This one is by Fredoichi, and I love it.

You can see the rest of Fredochi’s stuff here.
